A GREYHOUND that was brought into The Kloof and Highway SPCA is recovering and ready for adoption. Mandy was viciously attacked by two other dogs that almost killed her.
She was brought into the SPCA after being treated by Dr Yesh Govender.

“Mandy’s owner took her to Dr Govender, who with much needed medical attention and care helped her heal. Sadly the owner decided he no longer wanted her and Dr Govender brought her into our care where she could continue her recovery and look for a new home,” said Kloof SPCA’s Brigitte Ferguson.
She was put on to a diet of Hills Pet Nutrition to boost her immune system .
“Her wounds were dressed and treated on a daily basis and steady progress and a lot of love from our dog walking team has seen Mandy gain in confidence . She loves going for walks and so enjoys company.
“Thank you Dr. Govender for caring for Mandy and thank you Hills Pet Nutrition for ensuring Mandy’s body was able to fight this battle with good nutrition and lots of love,” said Ferguson.
