WATCH: DA conducts oversight visit to New Germany Post Office
The New Germany Post Office remains closed, months after the looting.
THE Democratic Alliance conducted an oversight visit to the New Germany Post Office on Friday, February 18.
The visit was sparked by the many issues affecting the post offices nationally.

The Westville Post Office is faced with the issue of homeless people while the New Germany Post Office has been closed for months.
Ward 21 PR councillor, Riona Gokool said the collapse of South African Post Office nationally has severely impacted on the citizens.
“In many communities, post offices have closed, and this puts more pressure on the offices that are still in existence. The added pressure of having to manage and pay out the R350 grant has also put a lot of pressure on the few remaining post offices,” she said.
