Enjoy an evening of music at St Agnes Church

In addition to the soothing music, there will be a spectacular array of raffle prizes which includes a two-night stay at Hertford House in the Midlands.

THE Youth Education and Support Trust (YES Trust), together with Hilton College choir, will host a wonderful evening with Richard Cock at St Agnes Church, Kloof on Wednesday, February 16.

Richard Cock is a well-known and entertaining conductors.

Jill Storrar, secretary of YES Trust said the conductors knowledge and love of music, his sense of humour and entertaining style are without bounds.

“We are most grateful to Richard for coming down from Johannesburg to give so generously of his time to help us raise funds for disadvantaged YES Trust students and the Hilton College Two-Organ Project,” said Storrar.

Another conductor for the evening, David Orr is the co-head of music at Hilton College. Orr joined Hilton College after being director of music at St George’s Cathedral.

“He is an extremely talented musician and organist, and a brilliant director of the Hilton College choir. The choir has a number of very gifted vocalists who will entertain and enthral you with beautiful music,” said Storrar.

Together with the wonderful music there will also have an opportunity to sample delicious Diemersfontein wines at the interval and after the event.

In addition, Storrar said they have a spectacular array of raffle prizes which includes a two-night stay at Hertford House in the Midlands.

The concert will take place at 18:00 St Agnes Church auditorium.

Tickets cost R180 and are available from Webtickets .

Proceeds will go to YES Trust, who support disadvantaged students and tertiary level, and the Hilton College Two-Organ Project.
