Saturday, December 11

DON your festive shirt or Christmas hat and join the Move ONE Million-Upper Highway, Crestwatch and Keep Crestholme Clean clean-up campaign from 08:30 to 11:00. The group will clean up Hooper Road, Rainbow Drive, Park Drive, Crestholme Drive, Valley Road and Ridge Road.

ENJOY a festive outing of shopping, dinner and a dance performance with the Flatfoot Dance Company’s Earth Rhythms at 18:30. The show takes place at the KZNSA Gallery, 166 Bulwer Road. The venue is Covid-19 compliant. Each performance has a limit of 100 audience members. There will be no ticket sales at the door. All tickets must be pre-booked. Bookings can made via email at flafootdancecompany@gmail.com.

Sunday, December 12

THE Westville Athletic Club is hosting its Illovo Christmas Challenge at 06:00. It will start and finish at the club house, at the intersection of Maryvale Road and Syringa Avenue. The race will be run under the rules of KwaZulu-Natal Athletics (KZNA), Athletics South Africa and World Athletics and all Covid-19 regulations will be followed.

HIKE the upper Kloof Gorge from Acutt Road, Gillitts on Sunday, December 12 at 14:00. There is limited parking. Contact David on 072 615 0559.

 
Thursday, December 16
THE Durban Bowling Club will host a Youth Day Fun Bowls event on Thursday, December 16 at 09:00 for 10:00.
There will be a bring and braai after the bowls event. Bowls and training will be available to new players. The event will include two games of 10 ends each. The club is located at 65 Gladys Manzi Road in Windermere. Contact Steve du Toit on 078 459 6648.
