St Mary’s ‘Little Saints’ turn 21

This year, nine out of its top 10 matriculants who achieved a year mark of over 85%, began their love of learning in the Grade R phase.

MORE than two decades ago St Mary’s DSG Kloof opened its doors to Grade R phase, affectionately known as Little Saints.

This year the phase reached a milestone by turning 21.

“We have seen these little girls blossom into remarkable young women who leave school to achieve amazing things,” said the school’s marketing and communications administrator, Sarah Bartholomew.

According to Bartholomew, this year, nine out of its top 10 matriculants who achieved a year mark of over 85%, began their love of learning in the Grade R phase.

“This is testimony to St Mary’s giving our girls a strong foundation and the space to learn in a fun, caring environment. Our nurturing teachers provide a place where girls truly belong and where each individual matters,” she added.
