FULTON School for the Deaf is hosting a fun outdoor movie night under the stars on Friday, November 19. Take your picnic blankets, pillows and picnic baskets to watch The Grinch. Tickets are R100 for adults and R60 for children under 12. The ticket includes popcorn and a coke. Tickets are available at the door or via Quicket.

THE Playhouse Company presents the Nateshwar Dance Company in Bollywood Song and Dance, on November 19 and 20 at the Playhouse Drama Theatre. The breath-taking show pays homage to the wonderful tradition of the Indian Cinema Industry. This production will showcase the very cream of the Nateshwar Dance Company, under dance doyenne, Smeetha Maharaj.

The show starts at 18:00 on both days and tickets can be purchased at R100 via Webtickets at www.webtickets.co.za/ or at selected select Pick ‘n Pay outlets.

WATCH Bollywood inspired hybrid dance showcase, Reset – the Eastern Evening 2021 online for 24 hours on Sunday, November 21. The Rampage Dance Company and KwaMashu Dance Theatre have put together this show to support Movember. The showcase is directed by powerhouse choreographer, Iqraam Rahim working with a dedicated group of multicultural, multi-disciplined dancers. Tickets are R150 via Quicket all proceeds will be donated towards the movement.

IN a new show, the Friends of Music presents pianist, Andrew Warburton and violinist, Ralitza Macheva at the Durban Jewish Centre on Sunday, November 21 at 3pm. The programme features virtuoso works for violin and piano from the 19th century, including music from Beethoven, Brahm and Fauré.

Action in Autism will host a Summer Market at the Action in Autism Centre in Park Hill, Durban North on Saturday, November 20 from 9:00am  to 14:00pm. The students of Action in Autism’s skills transfer and business hub, have been hard at work preparing for the market.
