6 wanted Pinetown robbers arrested in Gauteng
The six men, aged between 24 and 38, will appear at the Pinetown Magistrate's Court and will face charges of house robbery, armed robbery, and the possession of an unlicensed firearm.
AN intelligence driven operation, conducted by Pinetown detectives, led to the arrest of six wanted suspects in Gauteng.
“The one incident happened on October 5. A man was walking out of his yard in Circle Gardens, going for a morning jog when he was confronted by five armed men who were travelling in a white VW Polo,” said Manqele.
”They instructed her not to make any noise, before proceeding to the bedroom. They found her mother and grabbed a cellphone from her hand. They also took an LG TV and fled the scene in a white VW Polo,” said Manqele.
“One firearm was also recovered during the arrest,” he added.
