PINETOWN police have appealed for assistance to trace 34 motorbikes that were stolen from a bike shop in Westmead during the looting in July.
The station’s communications officer, Captain Bongumusa Manqele said approximately 34 motorbikes, worth about R800 000, were stolen from Bike Shack.

“A bakkie was burnt and the property was also destroyed. Police are investigating a case of house breaking, theft, malicious damage to property and public violence,” said Manqele.
He urged anyone with information to contact Pinetown SAPS on 031 325 5081/2/3, Constable Lindokuhle Ntuli on 073 075 2363 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
