The 17-year-old, who started modelling in 2013, is passionate about charity work and animals and would like to be a veterinarian after she completes her studies.

“I hope my new title will come with lots of charity work so that I can give back and make a difference where I can,” she said.

Visser advised young people to always be true to themselves and to never give up on their dreams. Describing her journey, the young beauty queen said it has been stressful but she has also had a lot of fun.

“It was all worth it and I would encourage young models to enter such pageants as they open a lot of doors and opportunities,” she smiled.

In addition to modelling, Danielle is a rock climber and has done well in the sport as she has claimed KZN colours for three consecutive years.
