Westville Senior salutes frontline workers

Learners and staff packaged treats for healthcare workers at St Mary's Hospital in Mariannhill

Westville Senior Primary School (WSPS) recently held a civvies fundraiser.

With the money raised, 250 specially packaged treats (home-made chocolate chunk biscuits and a cappuccino sachet) were given to the healthcare workers at St Mary’s Hospital in Mariannhill.

The staff and learners at WSPS expressed their appreciation for the many healthcare workers who are on the frontline of the Covid-19 pandemic and acknowledged the invaluable work they do.
