Celebrate your heritage with Kloof SPCA

All of the non-profit organisation's stalls will be open for the Heritage Day celebrations.

CELEBRATE your heritage with the Kloof and Highway SPCA on Friday, September 24 from 08:00 to 15:00 for a fun-filled family day.

There will be a variety of activities you can get involved in as well as shop up a storm in the Village Green, the Hidden Treasures Marquee and nursery.

The event, coordinated by Kevin Ellis, has a colourful line-up that includes a special appearance by Crystal Tryon at 11:00. She will perform her new song Vuka Ukhanye. There will be lucky draws to the value of R5 000, a fashion show and a Heritage Day Outfit competition. In addition to this, there will be Spanish, Latin, country western, Irish and belly dancing by Dance Magic and Celtic Heartbeat. If you want to show off your dance moves, join Kevin Ellis and learn the Jerusalema.

The Curry Lady and Sweet-Heart Treats will also be on site. All of the organisation’s shops will be open as well as Marilyn’s Tea Garden and Paws for Coffee.

“Remember to dress in your best Heritage Day outfit and join us for a promised day of colourful celebrations for a good cause,” said the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s manager, Barbara Patrick.
