Westville teen encourages young people to register to vote
Have you registered to vote? the Highway Mail has prepared a list of the voting stations in the Highway community.
THE voter registration weekend started off smoothly in most Highway stations.
Kiveshan Moodley (19) who went to register at the Westville Civic Centre said he was looking forward to make his mark in the municipal elections on November 1.

“I expected a queue here but it is very quiet. I urge youngsters to use this opportunity so that their voices can be heard.
“I truly believe that if I make the right choice, it will not only benefit myself but the whole country,” he said.
Kiveshan admitted that at first he was not really keen but his parents made him realise that voting was the good thing to do.
Voting stations are open today, Saturday, September 18 till 17:00 and tomorrow, Sunday, September 19 from 08:00 till 17:00.
