To celebrate the 110th birthday of the Kloof Methodist Church on Saturday, September 4, community members were given an opportunity to remember, reflect and rejoice. The public were invited to come through on the day to either admire the beautiful decorated flowers, which were exhibited throughout the church, enjoy the music accompaniment or sit in a pew and reflect on their life.

“Many people have been unable to mourn their loved ones or find the closure they wanted. By hosting this day, we hope they could find inner peace and closure,” said Phillida Ellis.

Ellis thanked the talented flower panel, for the beautiful arrangements, the church choir for their help and contribution to the music programme and everyone who made the day special.
