THE IIE’s Varsity College Westville’s sanitary drive initiative resulted in the donation of 128 packs of sanitary towels.
The sanitary towels were donated to Christianenburg Primary School in Clermont.

Christianenburg educator, Barbara Bengu said it is not often that learners miss school on the days that they are menstruating due to insufficient sanitary towels.
“However, the sanitary towels that have been donated come in very handy as educators often have to give learners sanitary towels from their personal toiletries,” she said.
