A 31-YEAR-OLD man handed himself to Pinetown police following the murder of a man in Wyebank on Monday, August 23.

Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele said it is alleged that the 36-year-old victim was with his girlfriend at their residence on Mthimkhulu Road when the suspect entered the house.
“It is alleged that the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the man multiple times. He sustained five stab wounds to the upper body and died on the scene.
“A knife, believed to be used during the murder, was seized from the suspect,” said Manqele.
The suspect will be charged for murder and is expected to appear in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court soon.
