From Upper Highway to Durban, here’s where you can get your Covid-19 vaccine
While the vaccination process had been disrupted by the recent unrest in the province, vaccinations were back on track on Friday, July 23.
A TOTAL of 217 511 people, aged 35, have been registered on the Electronic Vaccine Data System, and are scheduled to start getting vaccinated on August 1.
This is according to KwaZulu-Natal Health MEC Nomagugu Simelane who was speaking at Imbalenhle Community Health Care (CHC) in Pietermaritzburg on July 20.
The MEC said 986 311 people received vaccinations in KZN, including health workers; educators; people aged 50 and above.

Vaccination sites in Durban.
With more than 386 000 confirmed Covid-19 cases, KwaZulu-Natal remains the second highest in the country.

According to statistics released on July 27, 386 217 Covid cases had been confirmed in KZN.
In the Highway area, there is a vaccination site at Watercrest Mall in the underground parking (Monday- Friday, 08:00- 16:00) and in Pinetown Civic Centre (Monday- Sunday, 08:00- 16:00). The Shongweni Clinic will be open from (Monday – Saturday, 08:00-16:00) and Peacevale Clinic (Monday – Sunday, 07:00-18:00). There is also a vaccination site in Dassenhoek Hall operating, (Monday – Friday, 08:00-16:00) and at St Mary’s Hospital (Monday – Friday, 08:00-16:00).
Vaccination sites in and around Durban include: Moses Mabhida People’s Park (Monday- Sunday, 08:00- 16:00), Addington hospital Centenary Hall (Monday- Friday, 08:00- 16:00), Clairwood Hospital (Monday- Friday, 08:00- 16:00), King Edward Hospital (Monday- Friday, 08:00- 16:00), Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital.
