Taxis could be seen lining up on Otto Volek Road and Dinkelman Road intersection.

Other taxis are lining at the intersection of Zazi, Freese and Roger Sishi roads. Public relations officer of the association, Sunshine Ngwane said they were fed up with people taking over and destroying the City.

“These people are gambling with people’s jobs. People are going to starve and for what?” asked Ngwane.

Ngwane said they will continue to monitor the situation. “We have hired private security companies to assist. In the mornings, people need to show identification and proof that they are going to work,” he said.
