Highway’s Jody helps fight plastic pollution
Jody Taylor completed more than 100km to help fight marine plastic pollution.
REGIONAL sport coordinator at IIE’s Varsity College KwaZulu-Natal, Jody Taylor completed more than 100km in support of Run for the Oceans.
People, globally, were encouraged to get active and use the power of their bodies to help fight marine plastic pollution.

For every kilometer run and logged into the Adidas running app, Adidas and Parley will clean up the equivalent weight of 10 plastic bottles from beaches and islands.
“We take more away from our oceans than we give back to them. As human beings we are destroying our oceans and wildlife if we do not attempt to stop one use of plastic from polluting our oceans,” said Taylor.
