Westville Old Boy ready to tackle international series
Mambo Mkhize, has been selected for the SA U20 squad for the International series.
WHEN the Junior Springboks make a welcome return to International Rugby for the first time since 2019, Westville Boys’ High School old boy, Mambo Mkhize (2020) will be running onto the field for the team.
Mambo has been selected for the SA U20 squad for the International series.

“Mambo Mkhize has all the traits to become a professional rugby player. Mkhize’s physicality and flare make him a unique threat in the Centre position. He has settled into the Sharks set-up and will be mentored by former springbok JP Pietersen who will be his coach during the U20 competition.
“We know Mkhize is excited for the future, and will look to take this opportunity with both hands and continue to make all of us Griffins proud,” said current 1st XV Coach at WBHS, Njabulo Zulu.

The team will line up against Argentina, Georgia and Uruguay in a blockbuster four-round U20 International Series at the Markötter Stadium in Stellenbosch, starting next month.
The Junior Boks will begin their campaign against Uruguay on Friday, 18 June, and will line up against Argentina on Wednesday, 23 June, and Georgia on Monday, 28 June.
The other fixtures in the first three rounds of play will see Georgia being pitted against Argentina, Uruguay taking on Georgia, and Argentina battling it out with Uruguay respectively.
