Stranded dog rescued in Pinetown

The dog was checked for injuries and then handed over to the Kloof and Highway SPCA.

RESCUETECH and Netcare 911 responded to a call for help via the START Network for a stranded dog found at the bottom of a steep, walled embankment in Pinetown.

Members from both organisations were dispatched and, when they arrived at the scene, a member of the public had used a ladder to reach the dog.

“Rescuetech assessed the situation and, with basic rope access, brought the dog back to the road where it was checked and handed over to the Kloof and Highway SPCA,” said Rescuetech’s Warren Brauns.
