The company’s operations director and spokesman, Brian Jackson, said, “When homeowners do not press charges, suspects often revert to their original plan.”

Hours later, another team of patrollers apprehended a man on the N3. The man was found to be carrying a backpack that contained three car batteries.

“It turned out to be the very same suspect,” said Jackson. “The suspect divulged two of the areas where he had stolen them, All the items were handed over to Pinetown SAPS.”
