WITH more than 130 animals in its care, and a supply of wet food that is running low, the Kloof and Highway SPCA has called on the support of the local community to make a donation to help restock its shelves.

“We need your help,” said the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s Brigitte Ferguson. “Our shelves are almost empty and we are desperate for donations of wet dog and cat food.”

In addition to its 130 stray or unwanted animals in its kennels, coupled with the steady increase of animals being dropped off or collected by the Upper Highway animal shelter, the need for assistance is paramount.
