BREAK the silence at Nu Metro cinemas this weekend! Get ready for excitement and lots of goosebump-chills on Saturday, 22 May, with the special pre-release screenings of A Quiet Place Part II – a thrilling movie event that’s tailor-made for a cinema experience like no other.

Nu Metro also has Lesotho’s official submission to the 93rd Academy Awards opening on Friday – the story of an elderly woman who sparks a protest movement and becomes a legend.

The highly anticipated sequel to the cult horror hit, A Quiet Place Part II, arrives in Nu Metro cinemas next Friday. Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival—in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realise that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

Among the winding mountains of landlocked Lesotho, an 80-year-old widow wraps up her earthly affairs to make arrangements for her burial, and prepares to die. But, when her village is threatened with forced resettlement due to the construction of a reservoir, she finds a new strength of purpose and ignites a collective spirit of defiance within her community. In the final dramatic moments of her life, Mantoa’s legend is forged and made eternal. This Is Not A Burial, It’s A Resurrection is a drama with powerful emotional impact.
