Speaking about the discovery, Rescuetech’s Warren Brauns said they received call earlier today from a woman who was walking through the conservancy.

According to Brauns, the woman reported that she came across what looked like a wreckage of some sort with a red and white metal structure.

“There was also a strong fuel smell in the area, but was unable to establish what it was. Rescuetech was dispatched for investigating purposes and soon after started receiving information of a possible plane incident.

“Aviation was updated and all necessary rescue personnel were notified. A drone was sent into the air and search teams from Rescuetech headed on different search patterns,” said Brauns.

According to Brauns, one team located the red and white structure and also reported a fuel smell in the area. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the tent structure was used for traditional worship.
