Animal lovers assist Kloof SPCA with food donation

The Westville siblings used their savings to buy dog and cat food for the Kloof and Highway SPCA.

THEIR love of animals inspired Westville siblings; Taamirah Aliyah Moyce (7) and Amelia Leeya Moyce (9) to use their savings to buy dog food for the Kloof and Highway SPCA.

The girls’ donation came at the right time as the SPCA recently shared a post on their Facebook page calling for dog and cat food as their shelves were almost empty.

Amelia said they decided to buy food for the animals because they love them and they don’t deserve to starve.

“Our parents pay us for doing the chores around the house,” she said.

Their mother, Yashika, said she was proud of her daughters, “They are still very young so they could taken that money to buy toys and treats but no, they decided to feed the animals,” she said.
