Criminals rob cellular shop in Westville

Three men, who pretended to be customers, held up the staff and fled with cellphones.

THREE armed men targeted and robbed a cellular shop at a Westville mall on Thursday evening, just before the store closed.

Westville Saps communications officer, Capt Elizabeth Squires said three men, pretending to be customers, held up the staff and two customers. 

“An undisclosed amount of different types of cellphones were taken,” said Squires.

No injuries were reported.

A case of business robbery has been opened, confirmed Squires.
