Police search for relatives of woman killed in N3 accident

The woman was crossing the road on the N3 off-ramp, near the Pavilion Shopping Mall, when she was hit.

WESTVILLE SAPS are searching for the relatives of an unknown adult black woman who was hit by a car on the N3 off-ramp, near the Pavilion Shopping Mall, on 28 March 2021.

According to Westville SAPS communications officer, Capt Elizabeth Squires the woman was crossing the road when she was hit.

“She was wearing a maroon sleeveless jacket, black leggings and a lime t-shirt. She was declared dead on scene,” said Squires.

A case of culpable homicide is being investigated at Westville SAPS. Anyone with any information on the deceased is urged to contact Det/Sgt Mlambo on 072 032 6700.
