Kearsney swimmers make waves

Two learners from the Upper Highway school snapped up great positions in the recent Open Water Championships.

Kearsney College’s swimmers, James Kewley and Matt Haslam, both fared well in the recent SA Open Water Championships at Marina Martinique in Jeffreys Bay.

The boys represented KwaZulu-Natal in the championships, with James (Grade 11) taking 12th place overall in South Africa and third in his age group while Matt (Grade 12) placed 31st out of a 94-strong field of boys who competed.
