Chairperson of the Northpark Neighbourhood Watch, Tracy Ridsdale said they fear that the water will damage houses on Wise Road and the Queensburgh Methodist Church.
“Millions of litres of water are gushing out,” said Ridsdale who added they were still unsure if the pipe burst was caused by a criminal act.

“There have been so many criminal acts in the railway station,” she said.
According to Ridsdale, the burst pipe feeds the Queensburgh and Chatsworth areas.
“We hope it can be sorted soon. The last time this pipe had issues, there were communities without water for weeks, we fear the worst,” said a concerned Ridsdale.
