WITH the sponsorship of a beautifully wrapped bakkie, the local non-profit organisation, The Kloof Project, will be able to shift into high gear and rev up its ongoing work in the community.
The well known owners of Kloof Car’s in Village Road, Grant and Warwick Perks, offered the full use of a second-hand bakkie so the committee could be more independent when it came to transporting garden staff and materials while fulfilling its duties in and around Kloof.
“And to crown it all, Dave from Sharpline in Westmead, willingly agreed to sponsor the full wrapping of the vehicle, to give it a cheerful new garden image, using creative artwork designed, pro-bono, by The Brand Collective agency. In time, this bakkie will become a recognised sight by passing motorists and pedestrians,” said the chairman of The Kloof Project, Chris Dalzell.

A further act of support came from the local Engen Convenience Centre, which will provide a monthly allocation of free fuel and a carwash at the premises.
“We cannot adequately express our appreciation to all these businesses that show their support for what we do,” said Dalzell.
The team has intentionally included its Zapper code on the tailgate, to make donating to the ongoing work of the NPO as simple and efficient as possible.
