To provide moral and spiritual support to the frontline workers some pastors in Westville rallied their parishioners to show their appreciation to staff members at Life Westville Hospital.

Deacon Mark Wardell from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church said during these times visiting has been prohibited other than by medical staff and patients and therefore physical, moral and especially, spiritual support has not been available to them.

“Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all the hospital staff for the diligent and heroic work that they do for the community,” said Wardwell.

The goodie bags were presented on Wednesday, 17 February, to the heads of Life Westville Hospital nursing staff.
