Girl (13) injured in Sarnia Road hit and run

Paramedics stabilised the child on scene before she was taken to a nearby hospital.

A TEENAGE girl was seriously injured in an alleged hit and run at the intersection of Sarnia Road and Sea View Road while on the way to school.

Advanced Life Support Paramedics spokesman, Garrith Jamieson, said the girl, who is believed to be 13 years old, was stabilised on scene by KZN VIP Medical Paramedics before she was taken to a nearby hospital.

“At this stage, the events leading up to the incident are unknown. SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating,” said Jamieson.
