Local security companies attended to a shooting incident involving a young female in Pinetown.
CUSTOMERS and staff members were held up during an armed robbery at a Bellair shop on Tuesday evening.
Two armed robbers entered the store and marched the shop owner to the back office and demanded all of the cash on hand.
Blue Security’s community and media liaison officer, Andreas Mathios, said the suspects were dressed in black jeans, blue tracksuit jackets, wore masks and were seen arriving and fleeing the scene in a white VW Polo tsi with no number plates.
An undisclosed amount of cash, a customer’s car keys, one speedpoint machine and two cellphones were stolen.
No shots were fired and no-one was injured. Bellair SAPS attended the scene and are investigating.
