“I am so pleased that all three learners have been accepted to study at various universities and now have to make the difficult choice of which offer to accept. These are the kinds of choices that we would love to see for every deaf child – choices about creating an exciting future for themselves in fields that interest them,” said the school’s principal, Odette Swift. “We are very proud of their achievements!”

The school thanked the wonderful community for the donation of funds to purchase data for learners during the lockdown as it ensured all learners continued to learn by accessing videos via WhatsApp and video calls with teachers.

“It truly takes a large village to raise a child,” said Swift.
