NSC 2020 matric results: Kloof High School
The school's top learner, Aphiwe Masondo achieved 7 distinctions.

KLOOF High School’s staff and learners were exceptionally proud of the fine set of results achieved during 2020 as the matriculants achieved a 97 per cent pass rate and a Bachelors Degree pass of 76.9 per cent.
Special congratulations were given to the school’s Dux and top learner, Aphiwe Masondo, who achieved 7 As. Kholeka Msomi and Joshua Munsamy both achieved 6 distinctions.

Aphiwe achieved distinctions for English, isiZulu, French, mathematics, life orientation, life science and physical science.
Koleka achieved distinctions for English, isiZulu, mathematics, life orientation, life science and physical science while Joshua achieved distinctions for Afrikaans, mathematics, life orientation, accounting, engineering graphics and design and physical science.
“Our school theme for the year was resilience and this is what enabled these learners to achieve against the odds in an extraordinarily difficult year,” said the school’s principal, Rob Holding. I challenge the matrics of 2021 to equal or better these achievements!”
