Bubbly juniors enjoy first day of big school

The Grade R and Grade 1 learners at St Mary's DSG, Kloof were welcomed with a stream of bubbles from a bubble machine.

THERE was much excitement as the St Mary’s DSG, Kloof Grade R and Grade 1 girls enjoyed their first day at school.

The littlies greeted their teachers and friends in person, while adhering to Covid-19 protocols, and enjoyed their face-to-face lessons for the first time this year.

Although the girls had already completed their first week of lessons for term 1 online, using the school’s specialised app, they were over the moon to return to school and wear their brand new uniforms, shoes and school bags.

As the girls arrived, they were welcomed by their teachers, vibrant music and lots of bubbles coming from the bubble machine.
