A WOMAN, believed to be in her 40s, was injured when her car plunged from the M13 onto Stapleton Road this afternoon.
According to Rescue Care’s spokesman, Sheldon Lombard, Rescue Care paramedics were dispatched to the scene and found the woman lying next to her vehicle.

“Bystanders allegedly freed her from the wreckage. According to eyewitness reports, the patient, who was alone in her car, somehow lost control while traveling on the M13 and landed on Stapleton Road,” he said.
She was in serious condition and was stabilised on scene before she was taken to a nearby hospital. Local SAPS is investigating the accident.
