The station was closed on Sunday, 3 January after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.
THE Hillcrest police station is now open and fully operational after it was closed on Sunday, 3 January. The temporary closure was implemented after a member tested positive for Covid 19.

Hillcrest SAPS communications officer, Capt Linzi Smith said the station was decontaminated yesterday afternoon, (Monday, 4 January).
“The station is now operating normally as from today, (Tuesday, 05 January),” said Smith.
