Grubby Kloof street signs sparkle after clean up

The Kloof Project committee members encouraged residents to clean the signs in their spare time.

RESIDENTS came out to do their bit to help clean grubby and mouldy street signs in Kloof and surrounding areas.

The initiative, organised by the Kloof Project committee members, proved to be a worthy cause as people were amazed with the outcome and seeing the necessity of cleaning the street signs.

Kloof Project secretary, Sandra Wickee, said they are hoping to make this an annual event and are planning to have almost all Kloof road signs cleaned.

“This though will depend on the number of residents who join us. We encourage residents to clean the signs. We made such a difference in just one afternoon,” she said.

Wickee thanked the Village Mall SuperSPAR for providing the committee members with cleaning equipment to clean around the mall particularly to help enhance the shopping experience for residents.
