Westville Theatre shakes up Christmas calendar

As there are only 36 seats available for each of the shows, booking is essential.

THE Westville Theatre Club will stage its Christmas production, Shaken and Stirred, followed by the iconic Dinner For One, from Thursday, 3 to Saturday, 5 December and from Thursday, 10 to Saturday, 12 December.

Shaken and Stirred is a mix of wonderful songs that is sure to brighten up one’s day with stirring music to have guests shaking their blues away. It features an eclectic mix of the old and new, including McCartney, Berlin and Flanders and Swan, to name but a few.

The light-hearted musical’s first half will be followed by the classic Diner For One, once again star the inimitable Geoff Shaw as James the butler, supported by Jill Sysum as Miss Sophie.

To end off the evening on a high note, and to put viewers in the Christmas spirit, the cast will also sing a few happy, festive tunes. Patrons are sure to leave the theatre with lightened spirits and feeling ready to face the festive season with joy.
