Shoppers score big on Oxford Black Friday deals

Shoppers filled their trolleys to the brim with fresh produce, meats and other treats going for unbeatable prices on the much-anticipated consumer holiday.

OXFORD Freshmarket Hillcrest was a frenzy of excitement with shoppers racing to the aisles for bargain buys on Black Friday, 27 November.

Shoppers filled their trolleys to the brim with fresh produce, meats and other treats going for unbeatable prices on the much-anticipated consumer holiday. Staff and security ensured that the store ran like a well-oiled machine throughout the day with well managed queues in and outside store as well as Covid-19 screening and sanitation at the entrance and exit.

Spot prizes and vouchers were also up for grabs where customers were selected at random to score a surprise save on their shopping. Making a special appearance was East Coast Radio’s Keri Miller, Darren Maule and Sky Tshabalala, who hosted their show live from the store.

Oxford Freshmarket owners Brett Latimer and Paul Beltramo were pleased with the turnout and never-ending support from the public.
