THREE suspects have been arrested for kidnapping and carjacking following the disappearance of a 40-year-old man.

Pinetown Cluster communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele said the first suspect was arrested on Monday, 9 November, second suspect on Tuesday, 10 and third one yesterday, 11 November.
On 29 September 2020, a man (40) was reported missing at Pinetown SAPS.
According to the report, it was believed the man left his residence in Pinetown, driving his bakkie, and never returned home.
“The bakkie belonging to the missing man was found in the Dalton area in the midlands and a 29-year-old suspect was arrested for possession of a hijacked vehicle,” he said.
According to Manqele, the suspect took the police to the Ndwedwe area where the other two suspects were arrested.
He said police investigation revealed that the missing man was kidnapped at his residence in Pinetown and his vehicle was taken.
Manqele said police are still looking for the missing man.
The two suspects will appear in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court today, 12 November and the third suspect will appear in court soon.
