Founders of NGO, El Gibbor Kitchen, the couple’s latest initiative involves collecting Christmas boxes for the homeless. Steph said life is hard on the streets and every year they try to bring extra cheer to the homeless.

“This year has been by far the hardest year yet, with added obstacles making life even more difficult. We noticed over the years, like anyone, the homeless too like a treat or a gift. It makes them feel special and loved,” said Steph.

This year, the couple is doing a toiletry gift set with some extra treats such as biscuits, chocolate and sweets. “The guys light up with excitement like little children for these treats, it’s the most amazing thing to watch,” said Steph.

“On Christmas Day as we all spend time with family and friends eating the best of the best, most homeless people will be alone, no phone calls, no family, no Christmas lunch and definitely no presents. We want to change that,” added Steph.

Their aim is to collect 200 of these gift hampers which will include a perfume, roll on, toothbrush, toothpaste, face towel, lotion or cream, a pack of sweets, a pack of biscuits and a slab of chocolate. El Gibbor Kitchen will hand out these hampers on Christmas Day with a lovely lunch as well.
