DURBAN’S Curry Queen, Shae Nair shares her favourite meal that is perfect for a laid-back Friday evening.
Ingredients:
6 baby hake
2 tablespoon masala
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon lemon juice
2 cloves crushed garlic
Finely chopped coriander

Method:
Add the six baby hake to a marinade that consists of the masala, salt, lemon juice, garlic and coriander.
Mix and leave to sit for at least an hour
Add oil to a pan and fry the hake on medium to hot for four minutes on each side, or until golden. It is best served with hot chips.
