A MAN was caught carrying a flatscreen TV through Everton and, if you are missing a TV set, you are urged to visit the Hillcrest SAPS to help with an ongoing investigation.
Blue Security’s community and media liaison officer, Andreas Mathios, said a report was received by the company’s control room regarding two men seen carrying a table through the Everton area.
“A reaction officer was dispatched. During his patrol, he encountered a suspect on the corner of Acutts Drive and End Road who was carrying a flatscreen TV,” Mathios said.
The man carrying the TV was questioned and said he found the flatscreen on the pavement outside a property in Everton.

“By this stage, a member of Hillcrest SAPS arrived and transported the suspect and the TV to the said address,” he said.
“The resident at the property claimed to have no knowledge of the TV.”
Both the suspect and the TV set were taken to Hillcrest SAPS.
“If you have knowledge of the TV, please contact Hillcrest SAPS with evidence providing proof of ownership,” Mathios said.
