Vehicle plunges 25m down Field’s Hill embankment
Five people were injured in the crash.
FIVE people were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in crashed down a bank along the M13 on Field’s Hill.
ER24’s corporate communications manager, Werner Vermaak said the accident happened at about 11am on Sunday.
According to Vermaak, the vehicle was on its roof, about 25m down a bank.
“Due to the slippery ground, and poorly accessible area, a team from Rescuetech was called to the scene to assist in anchoring the vehicle and set up a hoist system to recover two of the injured patients,” he said.

Five people were treated at the scene and their injuries ranged from minor to moderate.
“The injured were transported by ambulance to RK Khan Hospital,” said Vermaak.
