The clean-up will be hosted by the Ubuntu Wellness centre at the Pineville Craft Junction, 81 Stapleton Road, (opposite Sandy’s Centre) Pinetown. Pineville Junction, which has been labelled a heritage site, has been around for more than 30 years.
It was designed to be a crafters’ village and a space for community building.
The clean-up will be held from 9am to noon. Hailey Fudu, founder of Ubuntu Wellness, encouraged families to join them on the day.
Ubuntu Wellness, which will be based at the junction, was started to empower women and spread Ubuntu as the women involved are passionate about their community and have experience and knowledge in various skills.
“Although most services will be paid, we will be offering other services for free such as meditation,” said Fudu, who is also the founder of United Team Building and secretary of Religions for Peace South Africa.
If you would like to participate in the clean-up, contact Fudu on 083 647 4460.
