Annual Caxton Awards celebrated with ‘Denims and Diamonds’
The Durban branch celebrated with a Denim and Diamonds themed event.
Unable to all come together this year due to the lockdown restrictions the annual Caxton Awards was held as a virtual event with each branch around the country watching the live stream video in their respective offices. The Caxton Local Media Durban team which includes staff from The Highway Mail, Berea Mail, Northglen News, Queensburgh News, Southlands Sun, Southcoast Sun Eyethu Umlazi , Eyethu Intshonalanga and Get It Highway all celebrated together at a Denim and Diamonds themed event.
The Durban team were honoured to have Jaco Koekemoer (MD – Caxton Local Media and coldset printing at Caxton and CTP Printers and Publishers Ltd), Karen Watts, (MD Caxton Local Media Metropolitan), Christian Welthagen (General Manager Commercial) and Alex Lurie (General Manager CTP Engineering) who were all in Durban for business to join our event. 
The Durban branch were proud to be top 3 finalists in the front page category and the Best Get it Magazine category and over the moon to have our own Tarryn Kumm, Highway Mail advertising consultant win the prestigious Field Salesperson of the Year award
