Ethan earns his place at the top

Westville Senior Primary School's SPAR Star of the Month - August 2020.

ETHAN HOLMAN, a grade 7 learner, is Westville Senior Primary’s SPAR Star of the Month.Ethan is a well-mannered, self-disciplined and respectful learner who is well-liked by staff and peers alike.

At the beginning of the year he was voted as house captain and swimming captain by his peers. Ethan enjoys school and achieves well academically, but his true passion lies with sport.He is in the first team for cricket, football, hockey and rugby.

He has made the PADSSA team for athletics and cross-country, and was selected for both the KZN Cricket and Action Cricket team.

Ethan’s strength lies in his ability to turn losing into a learning experience to better himself.

His consistency, reliability and willingness to go the extra mile makes him an excellent leader.Ethan’s role model is South African cricketer, AB de Villiers, and it is Ethan’s ambition to travel the world as a member of the South African cricket team.

He has set his sights on studying physiotherapy and it is his goal to eventually switch roles from playing for the Proteas to being a part of their medical team.
