‘Who’ is this? Help CROW name rescued owl

The barn owl is believed to have suffered severe head trauma and is currently being rehabilitated at the non-profit organisation.

FOUND listless in front of a warehouse, a male barn owl was taken to the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW), where it was found to have suffered severe head trauma.

“Sometimes birds fly into moving vehicles and get hit by cars, so it is possible this might have caused the injury,” said CROW’s spokesman, Alexandra Kögl.

She noted that it was a touch-and-go situation for the first 24-hour period but the little owl’s health has improved with each passing day as his mobility increased.

The owl was given anti-inflammatory medicine, vitamins and meat goodies to build his strength.

“He is being carefully monitored from his cosy box in the ops room and nurses are hopeful he will be right as rain in due time,” said Kögl.

The non-profit organisation has asked for suggestions for the barn owl’s name while it is in its care. What would you name it?
